Blogging Tulsa Real Estate: Stop Attacking Bristol Palin

Stop Attacking Bristol Palin

The coverage by the media of the presidential campaign has been nothing short of despicable.

They are in a tizzy over Sarah Palin's setting a trend with her eye glasses.  (I frankly have to admit that I like them.)

They have replayed the jokes by a late night comedian making fun of Trig, Sarah Palin's fifth child, who is afflicted with downe's syndrome.

Why can't they focus on ideas instead of peripheral issues?  What does it matter that Sarah Palin's daughter is pregnant?

She is not the first teenager to get pregnant outside of marriage and she will not be the last.  The important thing is that she is carrying the baby to term.

By the way, Jesus Christ's mother was pregnant out of wedlock.  She was a pretty special lady who many believe continues to intervene on our behalf.

Oh, and did I mention that Barack Obama's mother was pregnant out of wedlock?  Some would despise her, but why?  It's a moot point.

What's the big deal about Bristol Palin's being pregnant?  It takes courage for her to stand up there with her family.  The media needs to leave her alone.  I certainly would not want someone attacking my children like that.

God has great plans for Bristol Palin's baby.  Who knows, he or she may just grow up to start a new religion or to run for the highest office of the United States of America.

Leave the kid alone!
