The Year in Review - 2008
I am on a roll. I sent out Christmas cards. I am showing property almost daily. I am almost caught up on all of my email -- well, maybe.
So I found this in my inbox today. I'm only about two weeks late. Enjoy!

Debbie, Here is a way to start 2009: Talk to People
The New Year is a great time to reconnect with past clients. Yes, maybe you sent them a Christmas card or even better a Thanksgiving card. But it probably got lost in the pile of all the other cards they received in the holiday madness.
Pick up the phone and give them a quick call. They will appreciate your effort especially if you can remember a little tidbit of personal information about them from the past. Ask about the kids, their elderly parents or their job. Don't forget to ask them if they know anyone who is thinking about buying or selling.
Set a goal of 5 calls per day. No, answering machines don't count as a call. Ugh! Talk to 5 people each and 2009 will be off to a roaring start! Have fun!

Mary:
Thank you for your suggestion to call 5 people a day. It is really hard to do that. Yet, unbelievably -- or not -- I've been able to do that too. Not every day, but most, anyway.
I have started to keep a clipboard with my weekly calling log sheets on the top.
That is in addition to my Prospecting / Face Journal and my Productive Avoidance Work Log. Ooops! I feel a blog coming on to explain what those are in more detail.
LOL, I thought I was the only one trying to play catch up...
